Art From The Flow…

On May 19, 2025, this artist, several members of Save the Phoenix Wetlands, Pollinator Project Rogue Valley, community friends, and local art lovers came together for a special cause. My art had been created for this event to raise awareness and money for the work of these conservation groups to protect the amazing local network of natural springs, and the region's pollinators. During the event, I asked participants to write down their wishes and intentions for the future of these vulnerable springs along the “miracle mile” in Phoenix, as well as Bear Creek. I then submerged these heartfelt intentions in these same local waters to create a vibrant, one-of-a-kind sample of water to imbue this art. Sunlight was refracted through this unusual water sample to inspire the resulting art piece. The fascinating results took me on an unexpected journey of hope, momentum and energy, as well as a powerful message of the crucial continuation of human evolution to achieve peace and balance with nature. Thank you to all entities who have been involved in the creation of this special piece! It will be featured in the upcoming show “VISIONARY”(see flyer below). My hope is that it will serve to empower the awareness, conservation, and healing of these local waters. PEACE...
